CPPW grantee Georgia Organics and Southwest Georgia Food Project are working together in Albany, GA on Farm to School efforts that encourage schools to take students out into the fields and get their hands on the plants, the soil and understand why healthy food is so important. Officials share that these efforts could begin to curb the obesity rates in Southwest Georgia.
